Daisy is the second-born child in a family of six. She was registered as a Taji kid in 2022 while she was in Form 3 at Kenyatta Girls Secondary School. Her mother is a housewife, and her father works as a Juakali artisan to support Daisy and her five siblings.
Taji provided crucial financial support for her secondary school fees, allowing her to complete high school. Recognizing her outstanding performance, Taji continued its support by covering her college tuition fees and providing essential resources for her admission to Kolping Technical and Vocational Training College, Kilimambogo.
Daisy began her college journey on May 15, 2024, pursuing a course in plumbing. Despite the financial strains at home after high school, Taji’s support and belief in her potential allowed Daisy to follow her dreams and learn new skills. Her determination and journey serve as an inspiration to others, showing that with support and perseverance, challenges can be overcome and dreams achieved.
